yOU CAN TOO
Caitlin Clark signed with Gatorade and we had the honor of announcing it. She knows being a role model for young girls is bigger than basketball. As a young girl Caitlin was inspired by Maya Moore, a former Gatorade athlete. Now, it’s Clark’s turn to inspire. If Caitlin Clark can do it, YOU CAN TOO.
Like Clark, the video broke records resulting in 3.1 billion earned impressions and 29,787,962 IG plays (and counting). The spot performed so well, during Caitlin’s last Iowa home game, Gatorade aired the social video on TV. ESPN baby! It also aired during the most-watched women’s college basketball game ever: Iowa vs. UConn in the Sweet 16. That makes this one of the most-watched ads in women’s college basketball history, right?

There’s more... Gatorade loved the line “You Can Too” so much, the brand turned it into a tag line and platform for all of their NCAA women’s basketball efforts, including a manifesto video to share Paige Bueckers’ comeback story. Even through season ending injuries, Paige let’s others shine with her light.

Gatorade Mystery Flavor
Gatorade dropped their first ever Mystery Flavor and asked fans to guess it on a microsite for a chance to win tickets to Super Bowl LVIII. We promoted it with three videos featuring football G athletes. Here’s one.
Next, Gatorade asked us to create a big Mystery Flavor reveal, so the “Mystery Cleats” were born. In partnership with Mache, a renowned footwear artist, we created a pair of color-changing cleats. The cleats revealed the flavor once we poured our Gatorade on them. Ta-da!
Shedeur Sanders, a G athlete, revealed the cleats himself.
Lastly, we dropped a behind the scenes video with Mache. The mystery is history. ⚡️

Hennessy x HIP HOP 50
Hennessy is the most mentioned spirit in Hip Hop, so for Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary the brand celebrated big, REAL BIG. Yes, Mannie Fresh, Nas and Offset were at Hennessy’s party of the year. Not coincidentally, I was too. Hennessy asked us to create an activation for the night, laddering up to their “Rep Yours” campaign. It commemorated Hip Hop as expression, so we found a way for all guests to express themselves—turning Hip Hop fans into Hip Hop superstars overnight. We created Hennessy A.I.bum covers, personalized AI album covers (custom CD cases with coasters) from a Hip Hop region and era of choice.
All guests had to do was head to a kiosk, select a region, select an era, grab props and pose in front of a backdrop. AI and our skeleton crew (including the talented photographer Jeremy Cohen) took care of the rest. It was a platinum hit.
And the hits kept coming. We created a digital version, so Hennessy fans at home could create their own personalized album covers on a microsite.
If you think this is cool, we wish you could have seen the unreleased version powered by Midjourney—how the idea was originally intended, sold and produced. We had to shut it down right before the launch due to new legal guidelines, but we still love it. Here’s a sample…

Bradley Beal Re-signing Announcement
To announce Bradley Beal’s decision to re-sign with Jordan Brand, the Real Deal’s team asked us to create a highlight film with one major catch: no in-game footage. That being the case, we used the most interesting off-court footage provided to tell a very short story of what it takes to be a member of the Jumpman family.

House of hoops (2022 WNBA Tip-Off)
In honor of WNBA Tip-off, we created an interview series called “In Her Eyes.” The IG series features three fly Chi-Town hoopers inspired by the W and the reigning champs, Chicago Sky. Listen to how the WNBA inspires these ballers, and get inspired in the process.
We created a series of interactive IG stories to promote our videos. A lucky few who interacted were surprised with new WNBA merch.
